State Wildlife Grant Funding Threatened - Action Needed NOW!

The US Senate will vote on the 2011 Continuing Appropriations Resolution . It passed the house on Feb. 19th on a 235/189 vote. This resolution removes ALL funding for several important conservation programs, including the State & Tribal Wildlife Grants Program and North American Wetlands Conservation Act Grant Program (NAWCA).  The State & Tribal Wildlife Grant Program is the major funding mechanism for wildlife diversity (i.e., non-game) programs across the country.

Please contact your Senator (Senators Burr and Hagan in NC) and let them know if you would like this program to continue!
