North Carolina Wildlife Federation Honors Chris McGrath with Wildlife Conservationist of the Year Award

On September 8 in Cary, NC, the North Carolina Wildlife Federation will hold their 49th Annual Governor's Conservation Achievement Awards Reception and Banquet. This event is  a chance to honor those who have made a difference in Wildlife Conservation in the past year.

This year, they will honor Chris McGrath, recently retired Coordinator of the Wildlife Diversity Program in the NC Wildlife Resources Commission's Division of Wildlife Management, with the Wildlife Conservationist of the Year award.

Chris has been the driving force behind the Wildlife Diversity Program for over 6 years, and dedicated to non-game wildlife conservation throughout his career at the NC Wildlife Resources Commission.

Congratulations Chris!
