NC Game Land Management Plans: Soliciting Public Comments

The North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission owns and manages 40 Game Lands. The primary user group of these lands are hunters and anglers, but the goal is to preserve the ecological integrity of game and non-game species and the habitats they rely upon. To balance the public and ecological uses of these lands, the Commission is developing draft Wildlife Management Plans for each. As part of the development process, the Commission invites public comment from any and all stakeholders. Management plans are being developed in groups, the most recent contains seven Game Lands from across the state:
